I have inadvertently taken the best photo of what my life is at 4:24 am on a holiday when I can sleep in
A somewhat blurry, dark photograph of a grey tufted headboard in front of a blank wall, with bits of the tops of pillows visible at the bottom of the headboard. Rapidly exiting the photo on the right side is a criminal cat butt, the fluffy tail nearly horizontal but with a cheeky little curve to it, the indiscriminate mark of a cat having an illegally good time on top of the headboard at 4 something in the morning while humans are trying to sleep below

Warning large bug 😭
A fake triceratops head hung on a wall like a trophy, over top of which is an absolutely massive many legged bug, some sort of centipede or millipede or possibly Godzilla who can say? It is probably a couple inches in size but it startled me and I feel like it's Godzilla sized

So here's the coat. It is owned by the Fashion Museum of Bath, and is circa 1720, a wool coat with silver embroidery.
Light brown wool coat circa 1720 on a black mannequin torso. The coat is open from the collar and is very long, going almost to the imaginary knees as the mannequin is only the upper body. The coat does not have a collar, but has a circular neckline and flares out as it goes down the length of the body. The lining is visible and is almost a salmon pink. Elaborate, ornate silver embroidery in the shape of different leaves and flowers covers the front of the coat all the way around the collar and down the center front all the way to the hem of the coat, with more elaborate embroidery around the pockets, which have embroidered, scalloped pocket flaps. There are buttonholes with silver buttons all the way down the coat from the neck to the knee. Matching, elaborately embroidered, pointed cuffs fold back on the sleeves from the wrists to above the elbow, with more silver buttons along the upper edge of the cuffs around where the wearer's elbow would be. A back view of the same coat, which is in a warm, light brown wool fabric. Matching silver floral embroidery covers the center back seam, the side seams, the inside of the elaborate cuffs, the shoulder seams, and the back of the arms. The vent at the back of the coat's skirt is also elaborately embroidered to match. A close up on the elaborate silver embroidery on the coat, particularly the cuff. This close up shows a lighter gold color for the fabric under the cuff, and someone who knows flowers might be able to determine the exact embroidered motifs. The whole cuff is covered in this elaborate embroidery, with buttons along the cuff where it has been folded back

These two in the middle, The Worldwide History of Dress and Historic Costume in Pictures, are also good general resources in my experience. I also recommend the Survey of Historic Costume textbook, and any of the Patterns of Fashion books by Janet Arnold. I hope that helps!

They're both gone now.
Two cavalier king charles spaniels, small dogs with long white fur marked with reddish-brown spots and big brown eyes, play-fighting over a small blue squeaky ball. Their names were Charlie and Ellie and they were the best dogs.

A deep green, handmade yarn t rex tree topper wearing a little red and white santa hat and a red sweater trimmed with white faux fur. The sweater is embroidered with the words PEZ YES in orange, matching a custom emoji used elsewhere on the internet to herald a spectacular life choice made by Pez (and other uses too). The Tree Rex is next to a 3D printed potato that is smiling a happy little potato smile while dangling from an antique crystal chandelier, which both are depicted in front of.
