Hello! This is a thread to introduce the various peeps in our peep collective. Let's start woth PHILIPPE. Philippe is the original peep and is the one whose name goes on most of the paperwork. Philippe is a benign being and loves you just the way you are. Peep is inscrutable.

Roy and Reggie wish you a good morning or whatever your local equivalent is.
Two medium-sized blue peeps. Roy is on the left and is royal blue and shaggy. Reggie is on the right and is a very slightly lighter shade of blue and slightly less shaggy. We haven't come up with the right term for Reggie's shade of blue yet. But Roy is canonically royal blue.

Joshua waits. (Please note that pictures of Joshua's Odyssey are not in chronological order. They were beamed into Roy's transponder buffer in a linear fashion but then Roy re-reticulated the splines without telling us and now they are all jumbled up, like potsherds.)
Joshua, a small yellow peep, waits in a spacious, high-ceilinged lobby with clerestory* windows through which a blue sky can be seen. It's giving airport. Peep seems alert but in a good way. Maybe even excited. *peeps just leared the word "clerestory" and were looking for an excuse to use it in an actual context, as opposed to Roy and Reggie just taking turns yelling it at one another

Joshua can't wait to get to the bottom of peeps morning coffee.
Joshua, a small yellow peep, sits behind a cup of espresso on a hotel breakfast table. The cup is almost full, and part of a logo can be seen on the side. The logo is that of Loumidis Coffee: the word "Loumidis" in all-caps Greek over a picture of a red, green, and white parrot with upstretched wings. Joshua is peering over the rim of the espresso cup and seems to be waiting for the photo shoot to be over so peep can get peeps caffeine hit. Joshua knows that the dregs of Greek coffee are not for drinking, they are for telling fortunes.

After living through the Nazi & atomic bomb eras, Finnish author/artist Tove Jansson's writings would often encompass fearful ideas about loss of a familiar world. However she would balance this with characters who encompassed kindness & community, even in the darkest times #WomensArt
