At 7 am tackled emails w/ movers, packers, realtor, timelines, cat stuff, doing (redacted until I can talk about this), insurance problems w/ 2 offices billing the WRONG ins., technical difficulties I'm JUST learning about & my long-distance move is in abt. 2 wks. It's now 6 pm & NO ORGANING's done.

These may LOOK like the previous breakfast cookies. But instead of dried figs and fig & vanilla maple syrup this has smoke & orange maple syrup, grated orange rind, chopped pecans and dried apricot added!

Yet more fun facts: the original cut of Metropolis was lost shortly after release until 2008 when an original print was found.Metropolis also entered the public domain in 2023 so we can watch it in it's intended form and higher quality with than people alive when it released

I am very tired and my contacts are not in, so I read this as "Antarctica's fascist-melting glaciers". This is is an intriguing and hopefully significant events, but I was a teeeny bit disappointed. I want me some glaciers that melt facists.

Happy New Year to my Bluesky friends! A couple mornings ago I was fortunate enough to find myself atop of Smith Rock State Park near Bend, Oregon. I arrived to a dense fog inversion and climbed above the fog just in time for sunrise!

I took hundreds or more likely thousands of these types of shots on La Cumbre Peak in 2025.
