There are so many fucked up things with the current administration that it's hard to focus on one but this recent move is basically a death sentence for the planet. I've been involved with more boots on the ground actions over the years than I can count and this really bums me out.

This is a great article about how to tell which sex a Bald Eagle is—provided they are together. Unless you know the particular Eagles well, it's usually quite difficult to tell them apart unless they are side by side.

I used to see them almost daily in Washington but I don't get out to see them as often as I'd like since moving to Santa Barbara 712 days ago.
