Chatted to my great uncle yesterday – a northern, working-class guy, not that political. I told him my job involved exposing Farage.

His first question was: “who funds him?”

Investigations into Farage’s donors can have a major impact on Reform’s support – as this research has already shown 👇
New research reveals the best attack lines to use against Reform
How to stop Farage...

Here is part 2 of the “Tesco/(insert other brand) are cancelling Christmas” claims!

TL:DR? Christmas is alive and well everywhere you look.

And so too, sadly, is manufactured Christmas rage baiting.

Here is just 7 day’s worth of Daily Mail Christmas Rage bait

There are 20 restaurants & cafes & 9 bars in the House of Commons. These are heavily subsidised - a pint of beer costs £3.50. 9 bars in a place of work seems absurd. The subsidies shield MPs from the reality of the outside world & should be withdrawn immediately. Indeed the bars should be shut.

There’s a persistent myth that new solar farms don’t really help tackle climate change because panels are “made with coal” and “never pay back” their carbon debt.

This is simply false.

- UN: solar ~8x cleaner than gas, ~19x than coal per kWh
- panels repay CO2 in 4 months; save 57x over life

Jail the regulators.

End what is universally agreed to be the worst example of a disastrous privatisation - and that is out of a crowded field of disastrous privatisations
The number of times sewage is discharged by water companies will be halved by 2030, the environment secretary has pledged.

Steve Reed's vow marks the first time ministers have set a clear target on the issue, following public outcry over the pollution incidents

If instead of fining water companies money, they were fined shares, they'd either have to do the job they've been paid for or lose the company piece by piece.
Re-nationalisation at no cost to the public.
If Thames Water can pay its "record fine" by passing the cost on to its customers, how is that a punishment?

(Presumably they'll just tack a few more quid onto every bill.)
