Look, Kamala Harris sucks.

And if I, as a California sex worker, would crawl over glass to vote for her

I'm not real interested in the piss baby shit.

Kamala Harris is a lot of problems, but she's not fascism. And all of the problems that she can or will bring, can be fought.

Fascism is worse

Someone spray painted “Fuck Elon” on like 40 Cybertrucks in a Tesla parking lot. Blessed.

"I need AI to make comics, I can't draw!"

Okay, but one of the most popular webcomics of all time was literally just stick figures. Another one is over 4000 strips of the exact same clipart of dinosaurs.

You can make a comic. Trust me, it's really not that hard.

The Massachusetts "millionaires tax" has vastly surpassed projections, bringing in more than $1.8 billion in revenue so far this fiscal year — with the prospect of a surplus of hundreds of millions of dollars to spend on transportation and education
State’s ‘millionaires tax’ has already generated $1.8 billion this year, blowing past state projections - The Boston Globe
The estimated haul is already $800 million more than what Governor Maura Healey and state lawmakers planned to spend from its revenue in fiscal year 2024.

I say this all the time to middle-class and upper-middle-class audiences. Whatever you think the police do, whatever you imagine their purpose, they are not doing it. They are not finding criminals, solving crime, or preventing it. Nothing about the current system and how we spend money makes sense.

Brilliant read. "The money produced by art has not disappeared. ... The reality is that the people with the most money have devised, at every turn, new and more bulletproof ways for them to make and keep more money, and for the people who make things to make less."

What an exceptionally evil thing to teach a child

(whole long thread is worth it)
Jake met me at the gap and followed me home, and asked me mean vaguely threatening questions. I had been taught in no uncertain terms that it was very important to never retaliate, so I retaliated mostly by mumbling answers and hoping he would leave me alone, which he did not.
