Charlie Kirk was a husband and a father. We heard it over and over again

Only certain types of people get to be husbands and fathers. Some people are simply civilians. Faceless, nameless and without consequence. Civilians die. It's what they do
The New York Times has just confirmed that 40 civilians died in President Trump's invasion.

This is the aftermath in one area

Traffic to UK porn sites has dropped 77% since age-verification went live.

UK legislator celebrates, saying she's "very pleased" with the drop, calling it a "green shoot."

I don't know how they can make it any clearer that they view AV as a tool to police adult sexuality.

Organize accordingly.
MP Jess Phillips says her 'heart bleeds' for adult site as traffic plunges 77%
Home Office minister Jess Phillips sarcastically said her "heart bleeds" for Pornhub after age verification checks led to a 77% drop in traffic to the UK's most visited adult site

The Internet was never perfect but it used to be usable, functional. I know how we got here and I want the old Internet back. I want forums back. I want personal sites. I want stuff not written by a machine. I just want shit to work again.

If this entire department isn't dismantled and every agent put in front of a judge after this is all done, that will be an absolute dereliction of duty.

This entire grift relies on convincing people that they don't know how to do the things they have always known how to do, and ironically, if it works, we will, in a very short amount of time, forget how to do all the things we have always known how to do.

It's so bleak. Add in to the fact that some art/ creative programs require massive RAM and memory to execute certain types of projects/ looks means that is instantly being gatekeeped by financial means.
With Micron (1/3rd of global RAM and SSD manufacturing) pulling out of consumer facing products entirely, I think we're beginning to see the end of owning high end PCs at home. They're going to want you to pay a monthly subscription to remote access hardware out of a mega data center.

Funny seeing AI "artists" try and assert copyright claim over their original prompts. The slop spat out by the lying machine is built entirely on plagiarism but sure the brainfart that went into telling it what to excrete is somehow original and worth protecting.
