I'm going to start putting together some free info and resources for indie game devs looking to self-publish. I see a lot of people making simple mistakes, and hear a lot about being overwhelmed by what they need to do.

Do folk have specific self-publishing questions they'd want answered?

I am kind of sitting here mouth agape as I realize that the thing that really got eight Democrats to cave was a provision which provides backdoor criminal and civil immunity to them personally by making it functionally impossible to ever investigate the Senate
read the actual bill text and this is quite literally a provision designed solely to impede civil and criminal investigations into United States Senators and their staff. www.appropriations.senate.gov/imo/media/do...

I waited a day to say this bc I respected everyone's right to vent some anger, but *remember to focus on what you can do*. Whether it's defending your community, taking action around what you've been venting about, whatever — but don't let all of your energy get captured in the social media space.

This administration’s goal is to roll us back to before the New Deal and so impoverish US citizens that they will fill the jobs left by all the Latinos kidnapped by ICE.

They want peasants dependent on the whims of the tech lords

When I was raiding seriously in ffxiv, if raids with party members don't work out, instead of continuing to work with shitty players who are bad at their jobs, we kick them out and find people who are great and a much better fit. People who don't show to practice, who don't learn their rotas, out.

The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Call the United States Capitol switchboard at (202) 224-3121 and they will connect you with your senator's office.

If you're represented by one of the squishier centrists, be sure to make a call. Now.
Sounds like the squishes in the senate caucus are ready to pull the plug with no ACA changes. This is real. If you want to register your opinion you shld call yr senator in the next hour. They not only want to reopen w/nothing. They want cover from their colleagues who still want to hold out.
