Today marks the third anniversary of the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

What's happened since?

A record number of women have been prosecuted. Pregnancy loss is now considered extremely suspicious, even when it has nothing to do with abortion.
Criminalizing pregnancy: A record number of women were prosecuted the year after Dobbs
They were targeted for substance use, miscarriages, and stillbirths, largely driven by fetal personhood laws.

The HHS rule banning trans care from many ACA plans is open for public comment now. Only 3 comments so far.

Embarrassing how the media is completely ignoring this. There's likely over 200,000 trans people on ACA plans (1% of 24 million)

The Trump Regime has deleted DOJ guidance to businesses on complying with the Americans With Disabilities Act.

25% of Americans live with a disability.

Trump cannot delete the ADA, and he cannot delete disabled Americans. We are not going back to asylums and sanitariums.

My advice for fellow introverts who are hesitant to get out from behind the keyboard and get involved.

Set your fears aside and do it.

Go to a rally. Attend a meeting. Dip your toe in the water.

Nothing helps wash away the despair like being around others who are as concerned as you are.

Wired is dropping paywalls for FOIA-based reporting. Others should follow

The headlong rush was one of the most visceral experiences portrayed in Prophet Song. Everything moved so fast. A common refrain was "that's not legal," or "that's not how we've ever done things." But the government had allotted to itself special powers (because of the crisis they perceived), so 🤷‍♂️.
