when I hear white politicians talking about who feels unsafe in our community, I can not stop thinking about the ways Aboriginal children are policed every day. At Blacktown station, at Redfern, Parramatta. Police officers are an existential and very real and present danger to many of us.

In more than a decade of organising Palestine protests, I have never heard anyone chant “globalise the intifada”. I have seen it on a placard or two, maybe. To my knowledge, the phrase itself has never been associated with any violent act. Why are we banning it?

When Vance says that criticizing Israel is not antisemitism, we should all be clear that he's talking about Nick Fuentes and not, say, immigrant grad students protesting genocide.
Now that JD Vance has said "criticizing Israel is not Antisemitism" (CIINA), people on the left should do two things:
1) Watch how he applies this (hint: it will be to protect young white nationalists, not Palestinians);
2) Make sure that "CIINA" is not the only thing you know about antisemitism.
