Y'all don't understand how fast experienced farm workers are.
The average tomato picker pulls 650lbs per hour.
At $20/hr, that's $0.03/lb for labor.

Stop letting people in this administration say they want to make changes to FEMA because it will save money/minimize disaster spending. This is not true.
One thing we are very sure about in disaster research is that investing in mitigation & preparedness saves us major money in response & recovery.

It's a tactic that exploits liberal need to overcompensate for privilege and the mainstream's tendency to stereotype, betting that no one looks at a real poll to confirm their claims. Unfortunately, it also undermines the credibility of these activist groups and others like them, bad for long run.

Interesting. I've seen this dynamic in liberal Seattle. A radical activist group purports to represent their whole demographic, and then they successfully get attention by accusing non-marginalized folks in power of not listening to "[X] people" when they're really just not listening to them.
