Remember in Texas Chainsaw Massacre when the family is trying to get the barely conscious, half-dead elderly patriarch to hit the girl over the head with the mallet but he no longer has the strength to hold it?

That’s Trump.

A win! A judge in Oregon ruled that the Trump administration may not withhold emergency preparedness funding from states that declined to submit updated population counts accounting for deportations, because population estimates are the responsibility of the U.S. Census Bureau; not the states.

I mean yeah it’s an authoritarian takeover but can we take some comfort in the fact that the people doing it are INSANELY stupid?

The Jimmy Carter You Don’t Know About

Early in his political career Carter encountered election fraud and, instead of just accepting it like so many others, he fought back.

CBS is filing copyright claims to get the 60 Minutes CECOT piece taken down from social media sites.

They don’t want us to know they sent men to a foreign prison to be tortured.

They don’t want us to know a judge ordered the plane be turned around and Kristi Noem overrode it.

The truth will out.

Muppet Family Christmas is still so underrated. I know tv movies are often tricky to remaster but it deserves to be available on BluRay and official streaming.

Censorship is major step on the path toward an authoritarian regime. Cancelling an important 60 Minutes piece on the very real brutality being experienced by imprisoned people has lit a 4 alarm fire.

“Don’t be such a Gruber! It’s Christmas.” I feel like that could catch on.
I would like to apologize to Mr. Ebenezer for continuing to use “Scrooge” as a derogatory term. I should probably pivot to Hans Gruber as my go to Christmas grump and all around yucky human.
Why do we still associate the redeemed Dickens character’s name with all his worst traits?

Muppet for scale conundrum.

I always thought the Gorgs and Sweetums were the same size. But based on the Muppet Family Christmas, Kermit is the same size as the Fraggles. And the Kermit to Sweetums ratio ≠ the Junior Gorg to Gobo ratio.

So therefor the Gorgs are larger than Sweetums.

Muppet Math!
