Man, I just do not have words how pessimistic I am about immigration politics going forward, and I simply don't think there is a way to keep the metastization of this kind of virulent racism "siloed" out of domestic implications.
I mean here's the account specifically arguing that there is an open islamoleftist conspiracy to subvert Western institutions, and that thankfully they've only succeeded in the UK

Literally imagine how history would be if the Clintons weren't in the party and Trump could have actually been attacked on Epstein without the other candidate being implicated too lol

I’m not a marketing consultant but I really feel like some companies miss a trick when they assume their American voice over ads will do for all English speaking countries.

Some of them have that forced yank corporate enthusiasm that’s just like nails on chalkboard to my Irish ears.

NEW: ChatGPT allows Google to index chats users share using the Share functionality - presumably misinterpreting "make this chat discoverable". The result? Frank admissions about sex lives and drug dependencies. My latest for @fastcompany.com www.fastcompany.com/91376687/goo... tip @techmeme.com
Google is indexing ChatGPT conversations, potentially exposing sensitive user data
Thousands of shared ChatGPT chats—including deeply personal details about mental health, relationships, and trauma—are appearing in Google search results, raising major privacy concerns.

The existence of the East African Indian diaspora is a really fascinating artifact of Imperial globalization and a great example of how much more complex and interconnected our world is than we realize, so of course the American intelligentsia takes it as a personal insult.
What even is the story guys

NEW from me:

Trump's 90-day pause on the China trade war still leaves tariffs at the highest level since the Great Depression—and that's before upcoming sector-specific tariffs or possible un-pausing

Trump may be easing his trade war, but he's far from ending it🧵

The thing with Pedro Pascal is he not only gives a fuck; he knows he's huge enough to spend all day trashing bigots safely because entire franchises are built around him atm. He's no dispensable Gina Carano-tier secondary guy. This also underlines how most famous artists as big as him are cowards.

K2-18b is back in the news, now with a bold claim that biosignature molecules (DMS and/or DMDS) have been 'detected at 3σ'.

Most exoplanet astronomers are extremely sceptical about these claims, let's see why (1/n).

Once again the reason why birth rates are declining is that fewer people are getting married (plus a total implosion in <25 birth rates, which is good) and the reason for that is a massive gap in college attainment between men and women, plus noncollege men basically refusing to do chores
