I learned about this 👇🏾 when I was 18 and I was interning at a title insurance company. I sat through a presentation about what mortgage interest rates mean and I was flummoxed that most people pay twice the sticker price or more for their home after compounded interest. #compound #interest

It takes a lot of chutzpah and privilege to be trashing eight Democrats when there are people who have gone a month without pay. You want to get mad? Get mad at Republicans for creating this mess in the first place.
My neighbors have missed 3 paychecks. And some still have to go to work. There were no good choices. But forcing senate repubs to pass a bill that reduces harm and that the house has to also pass is a net good strategy. Some of y'all have never had to deal with rock-and-a-hard-place / harm reduction

THIS time, SNAP can not be defunded during said shutdown. If the Senate refuses to hold a vote on extending healthcare credits, shutdown. They just won't have the ability to starve people as a brutal negotiation tactic next time as the CR includes full SNAP funding for the rest of the fiscal year 😏
