I argue that America's Black elites actually learned a lot through George Floyd. They realized that protesters did not spare Derek Chauvin's Black and Hmong uniformed accomplices, which meant sooner or later, they would be in the hot seat for facilitating systemic racism as well.
Every “lesson” learned in the lead-up to and wake of the George Floyd protests are being rejected with flourish.
