A middle school I interact with is in a state with a school cellphone ban and y’all everybody in there is relieved. EVERYBODY. The kids, the teachers, the janitors. They are so relieved. Nobody is really uptight about it…except some parents.

Interesting how COVID-19 is present in half as many admissions as flu, but in 3x as many <6-month-olds (31% of all child admissions, compared to 5% for flu in this age band).

Ya know who uses Medicaid? CHILDREN. 40 million kids are enrolled in Medicaid or CHIP. That’s half of the kids in this country. Children don’t contribute to the workforce or buy goods or vote… so no one cares.
