Greenpeace lost – not because it did something wrong but because it was denied a fair trial

3 European settlers stole it by massive immigration and land grabs.
4. The treaty reminds pakeha that their job is to respect and share, not grab and gaslight.

Whatever the RBNZ does today with the OCR (my prediction: 0.5% drop), remember that they engineered this recession because Western economists can't cope with the concepts of supply-side inflation and full employment.

This is why this country is so fucked up about housing. You shouldn't get to treat all your spare houses like some business you're running when you already get paid for another full time thing, which is THE BUSINESS OF BEING AN MP

But the west is so brainwashed to see (cutthroat) capitalism as the "answer" to all of their problems, when in reality, it is the cause of everything. It's so sad that poor westerners would rather blame immigrants for their poverty, instead of the rich who exploit them and hoard wealth.

Fascism is making a comeback all over the western world because neoliberalism is an empty ideology that has offered nothing meaningful so far. It's so unfortunate that westerners aren't open to giving proper socialism and community a try. Cos socialism is way better than neoliberalism and fascism.

It is established fact that Australian soldiers in Afghanistan committed war crimes. Today, the man whose courageous act of whistleblowing brought these crimes to light has been sentenced to almost 6 years in gaol.

This is a dark day in Australian history.

It's honestly extraordinary - and to my mind journalistic malpractice - that the Herald printed this without doing five seconds of googling to find out their source was an anti-cycling activist with a pre-existing beef against Genter.
For those who missed it - Four Seasons Florist is owned by someone who is virulently anti-cycleway, has been known to kick off about it at cyclists who are trying to buy stuff from her, and claimed to have closed the business 18 months ago due to the removal of car parking directly outside.
Uh, we definitely do need to talk about bullying. Including activists who provoke and exaggerate incidents, knowing they'll have an eager audience in the scandal-thirsty media.

A blatant hit piece. Our politics and media are filthy.

I can almost guarantee said florist is entitled and expects everyone to bow to their thought.

Fuck these pieces of crap. Come at me.
Bloody hell.

US officials are describing the possibility of being subject to international law as an unprecedented atrocity.

They can accept genocide. They cannot accept human rights law.
When (and I think it is a when, not an if) the ICC issues arrest warrants against Israeli officials/officers, US congress will move to crush it. It is not clear to me if ICC will survive this backlash.
