What a beauty!
In celebration of World Octopus Day, we wanted to revisit one of our favorite cephalopod sightings, the glass octopus — Vitreledonella richardi filmed during a month-long #PhoenixIslandsCoral expedition in 2021.

A travesty. Other places invest in education about bears and commonsense provisions. In Florida, intense habitat fragmentation leads to the deranged logic that "there are too many bears." Bears in Florida are not accustomed to being hunted. Most will just be shot crossing some asshole's backyard.

Why is fridging still such a major motivator for male characters? Like seriously, we can't come up with something other than "your wife has been killed, now off you go to vengeance"? I don't know what else I expected of Gladiator 2, but I hoped for better.

I've been doing a lot more biking this summer and I've really been struck with how smart the biking arrangements here are. The bike lanes are well marked (painted red most places in order to distinguish from the walkways and roadways), generally follow direction of traffic etc. I love my city
