What ever happened to the old sales adage of "never give customers a reason to do a market comparison"

If you're an insurance company and you put my premiums up by 50% by the time I call you up to cancel you've already lost my business, no amount of "loyalty discount" will convince me to stay.

It's encouraging that DPD seem to be so excited to deliver my parcel, but I feel that 168 emails over the last hour might be a little excessive.

I hear that Nature, the pre-eminent journal of science research, will only allow cleaning staff to use brooms and dusters in their offices. It seems Nature abhors a vacuum.

The “please leave us a review” culture is getting crazy.

No, I’m not writing a review of the car park.

No, I’m not following back your web design company I’ve never heard of.

Welcome, welcome to all the new joiners. Pull up a chair by the fire, get comfy.

A bit of feedback for some people. If you have no posts, initials as a username and something random as a profile pic I’m unlikely to follow you back. I’m old and tired, give me some clue who you are.

I see Elon has got his dream job of dismantling the FAA.

Given the issues with their internal QA, not sure I’d be keen to fly on anything produced by Boeing for the next 4 years if there’s zero external oversight.

Campaign to normalise 3⭐ reviews.
On a scale of 1 to 5, reviews should be a bell-curve centred around 3:

5⭐ - Exceptional.
4⭐ - Good, above average.
3⭐ - Normal, perfectly fine.
2⭐ - Below average but not terrible.
1⭐ - Terrible.

Reviews are pointless if 5⭐ is considered average.
