Too many platforms,
not enough to say.
Is there a hi-res version of this available? It would be perfect for intro talks.
I know it was in the BBKA news but I’m lazy. 😀

Fiscal drag is throwing up all sorts of anomalies. The state pension will soon incur basic rate income tax.

I surprised you can remember any of the nonsense we spouted a quarter of a century ago.
There been so much more nonsense since.

That was one of my pet phrases, now I’m reminded!

3YGB is four syllables.
Third Year Goodbye is four syllables, it’s an unnecessary acronym that doesn’t save any effort and just confuses people.

One of the comparisons I’ve seen put us at 1938 but Czechoslovakia [Ukraine] are successfully fighting back.

Now I’m conflicted.
I don’t want to trim the privet back until it’s flowered because it’s really good for pollinators. Gah!

He’s also failing to understand how AI training works.
If he gets Grok 3.5 to rewrite all its training material it’ll do so including all its limitations and biases. You train a new AI on that dataset it’ll inherit all the same limitations and biases.
This is how you get Grok 3.5 v2, not Grok 4.

I’m saying any of them were good, and they certainly didn’t play their cards well, but maybe given a less compromised starting position they wouldn’t be perceived quite as badly.

Edward II was left the crippling debt of his father’s campaigns in Scotland and his outrageous castle-building programme.

I often wonder how many of the “bad” kings were a result of the situation left by their predecessors.
John was left the debt of Richard’s crusade and literally had to pay a king’s ransom when he got captured. The Baron’s revolt and resulting Magna Carta were mostly about taxation.

Wondering whether I could put that to an extreme test…

Yep, they’ve been hanging around the drainpipe looking for water.

There are vanishingly small odds of there being a single bee!

I was up there a couple of weeks ago and it’s definitely sprouting.

Dammit!
I didn’t cheat by looking it up, but I vaguely remember CHL had 5 zones that they used to measure V2 trajectories.

One of our offices has an original Chain Holm mast, I think if you every time I see a picture of it.

Think I’m cheating by knowing what event you’re prepping for, but I’m going to guess a CHL set?

Now up to 310 emails.
They’re *really* excited about this delivery.

It was 20+ years ago but the Virgo consortium used to have their ‘bow tie’ up the staircase of the Rochester Building in Durham.
