here's the thing. I get that it's difficult to say "no LLM" because LLMs are a class of algorithm and there are ones that have not been trained unethically and in exploitation of the labour of your membership, and banning an entire technology because the most common applications are Bad is Not Great
Another Nebula Awards nomination cycle is in full swing, and the addition of poetry and comics, along with the presence of LLMs in industry, required careful consideration.

I really wish Starbucks would settle a goddamn contract with their union, I am very fucking tired of not being able to grab coffee and breakfast on my way to work and to my medical appointments. (Yes, obviously other places sell coffee and breakfast; none of them are as convenient for me.)

Nimbus has crunched through a goddamn light bulb from the tree lights, thank god they’re not glass anymore, but he hasn’t knocked anything over even since he got on top of the base and started fighting the tree top. Now I just have to get orange oil and soak the lights in them, I guess.

didn’t get a good photo of it, but Alice has gotten up on top of the cat tree part and climbed into the top foliage and it barely even wobbled!! so this bodes very well indeed, god I am so happy.
well, I can’t give it a full review yet since we haven’t even decorated it yet much less had a full christmas season with it and the cats, but godDAMN the Cat Christmas looks GREAT. and it solves my desire to have a corner christmas tree without taking over the whole room!!

I look forward to the day doing my braids stops being an exercise in agony. Anyway, today has sucked for pain, but I got the critical shit at work done and I am home and showered and I threw myself on the massage pad and took MORE meds and I am drinking salts while I hope for the nausea to go away.
