The two Democrats who surged to surprise victories on Tuesday and flipped seats on Georgia's Public Service Commission are already having material effects on the state's monopoly utility.

Both Jefferies *and* Goldman Sachs just downgraded Southern Company on regulatory concerns. 👀

It’s easy to feel like the sky is falling with the Trump administration's historic, unprecedented assault on clean, cheap energy.

But there’s reason for hope. We’re making progress on climate and clean energy in states all across the country.

Long thread of wins you may have missed this year 🧵👇

Senate Republicans just voted to kick 20 million Americans off their health care.

JD Vance thinks that is "minutiae."

Ernst doesn't care because "we're all gonna die."

McConnell says people will "get over it."

Don't EVER let Republicans live this down.

LEAVITT: The president cares very much about our environment. He also cares very much about our energy independence.

Musk's DOGE cuts just hit Health and Human Services and it's horrific. They are trying to completely eliminate the entire Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program which helps millions of Americans with their heating and cooling bills. It is the middle of winter. It was 1°F in Utah today.

It's critical for everyone to remember what an Executive Order is. It is the President communicating orders to members of the executive branch. Policies to pursue, actions to take, etc. They are not laws. They are not close to being laws. They are formalized memos to employees. That's all.

The government runs out of funding Friday at midnight, leaving Democrats to decide whether to help Republicans pass a bill to avoid a shutdown or block the bill and be blamed for triggering one.
