In 1826, drunkenness at West Point Military Academy was such a problem that alcohol was banned from campus.

On Christmas, cadets smuggled in 4 gallons of whiskey, used as the base for an eggnog party.

The night ended in the Eggnog Riot of 1826.

Wait until you hear some of the names involved!

The Supreme Court’s decision blocking President Trump from sending the National Guard into American cities is likely to raise a politically fraught debate about the president’s willingness to invoke a 19th-century law to deploy the regular military on American soil instead. https://cnn.it/45qYuyn

For a counterpoint to the current federal administration's misguided energy policies, look not to a blue state, but the state of Texas: no renewable energy mandates there, they just let the market pick the winners and it's solar plus storage:

NSF is about to dismantle NCAR at Russell Vought's direction to protect the fossil fuel industry. It's hard to communicate just how much NCAR does, so let's take a look: I've never worked at NCAR, and I've worked with NCAR researchers once ever. What scientific discoveries has NCAR made possible? 👇

I'm old.

If you're not, listen to this.

Get a guitar or some drums, or a trumpet. Pick up a brush, a pencil, some clay or a welder.

Just make shit. It doesn't have to be good (eventually it will be) just make music, art or write or whatever.

It's literally never been more important.

This World Series commercial shows something crazy. That giant blob of light south of Manitoba is bigger than Chicago but there’s no big city there. It’s actually light from burning off natural gas during the fracking extraction process in the Bakken Oil Fields of North Dakota.
