It's really just nostalgia and homesickness that makes me want to move back to the States. Any practical consideration would be the lifestyle equivalent of shooting myself in the hand with a shotgun
My ACA current plan is going from $385/mo to $821/mo.

Met Lenny once at a basketball camp when I was a freshman in high school. Even when talking to a group you felt like you were the only one he was speaking with. Learned so much that day. That’s a memory I forever treasure.

Anyhow, a Seattle - and Washington State - giant. He’ll be missed. 💔

i'm convinced if we ever tried to touch the rail of meat politics in America (something that's going to eventually need to happen in order to reduce CO2 emissions), it would lead to a huge right-wing shock
remembering the time a random catholic priest got mad at me about a hypothetical about the government restricting meat production on the other site

meat politics is going to be insane for the next Dem administration which takes climate change seriously, imo

Betraying your promises, your values, your party and your countrymen is bad enough—but getting nothing in return makes the capitulation of eight Senate Democrats to a ghoul a truly grotesque display.

The absence of principle and the collapse of leadership and the lack of strategy are the worst things, but another worst thing is the simple failure to do their homework and read the bill before they voted on it.
🚨 💰 WOW — @SenatorHagerty & @MarshaBlackburn snuck a provision into the spending bill that would let them sue the government for $500,000 because Jack Smith looked into their phone records around Trump’s insurrection.
