Where is Kornacki?
November 5, 2025 at 2:50 AM
Wasn't there an immigration bill that was carved out in 2023-2024 before Trump told his Republican sponsors to "kill it"?
I'm a gun owner and my neighbor and I are in a feud. But I heard he wants to buy a gun. So imma go over to his house and beat him with a bat. "You better not get a gun!" I scream as I clobber him.

What's he going to want more than ever now?

That's the "logic" of the last 72 hours.

Maturing and Nesmith were exposed on defense tonight.

Maturing and Nesmith got exposed
Things were looking dire for the Thunder. But thanks to some elite defense and clutch shots from SGA, the Thunder even up the NBA Finals and have 2 of the last 3 games on their home floor.

Maturing and Nesmith got exposed tonight
That's a brutal -5 by Mathurin -- 3 missed free throws and 2 away-from-the-ball fouls leading to OKC free throws.

Brutal late-game stuff
June 14, 2025 at 3:28 AM
And a foul too with the elbow jab to Nesmith's chest. They are seeking out Nesmith
I’m “how was that not a travel?”
years old.

More turnovers than field goals
So far this isn't even the worst WCF Game 5 first half in Wolves history.
May 29, 2025 at 1:46 AM
Randall doesn't seem to have a cape.
Well, that is about as professional and ass-kicking a start to a closeout game as you're gonna see. Let's see if the Wolves have some superhero shit in them.

After Adams pushed Thompson forward
On rewatch it seems nobody did, he ran into drays leg and it tripped him up
April 24, 2025 at 4:16 PM
Steven Adams pushed Thompson into Butler not Draymond
Draymond threw Amen Thompson into an airborne Jimmy Butler and may have changed the future of this series…

Classic.
April 24, 2025 at 4:11 PM
Steven Adams pushed Thompson into Butler. Not Draymond
Every time they show the Jimmy Butler fall, it gets even more obvious that Draymond not only pushed but also hip-checked Amen Thompson into him. Unsurprising, as Amen is way too coordinated to just fall on his own like that.

IT IS REAL
This whole episode of Trump's tariff fiasco is so ridiculous that even the writers of Veep and House of Cards would have shredded their drafts.

But it was real.

And it will have real lasting effects on real people.

Should Bessent be placed on leave like the lawyer at DOJ?
lol
REPORTER: Can you explain more of the decision making on what feels like a reversal here?

BESSENT: No

Wait until you hear what the Senate R's are going to do once they resume
CONGRESS UPDATE

Everything has come to a standstill

• House is done for the week after a GOP division over proxy voting for new moms that caused leaders to cancel votes

• Senate is doing nothing because Cory Booker is entering his 22nd hour of holding the floor and speaking
April 1, 2025 at 9:05 PM
I understand the sentiment. Unfortunately, it is a fools errand.
Begging House Republicans and President Trump to say April fools about everything that has happened since January 20th like:

Perhaps audit is not really what they mean...
wired.com WIRED @wired.com · Mar 18
DOGE has spent the last six weeks on a supposed crusade to audit the government and stop fraud, waste, and abuse.

But two federal auditors with years of experience say that DOGE’s actions are the furthest thing from what an actual audit looks like.

‘It’s a Heist’: Real Federal Auditors Are Horrified by DOGE
WIRED talked to actual federal auditors about how government auditing works—and how DOGE is doing the opposite.

Thomas and Alito?
Will MAGA go to war with John Roberts now?
March 18, 2025 at 8:53 PM
Seriously??? This cannot be. Can it?
"This was a deal between Schumer and Thune to allow a brief performative episode to throw Dem voters off the scent while the Dem caucus allowed the bill to pass. The deal is this: Dems agree to give up the 60-vote threshold in exchange for being allowed to offer amendments to the House bill."
People are wondering if what I'm saying is true. senate Dems are saying it's true. Here's what Sen Kaine said coming out of the caucust meeting: "Democrats had nothing to do with this bill .... talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/the-k...
March 13, 2025 at 1:52 AM
I really do not want to believe this!
2/ But this does seem to be a real driver. This is wrongheaded on so many different levels it's hard for me to process. There's some reality here. The courts can keep going for a few weeks on fees alone. But then things do start to draw down. I don't know the precise mechanics of that.
March 13, 2025 at 12:02 AM
Where are the reporters? Will they ask those who so proudly stood with Trump about their thoughts now?
February 5, 2025 at 1:07 AM
Which Dem?
The Senate just voted to confirm Pam Bondi, a 2020 election denier, as U.S. Attorney General.

All Republicans and one Democrat voted for Bondi.

46 Democrats voted against Bondi.
February 5, 2025 at 12:59 AM
Who's to say they already are
Not for nothing but everyone realizes that these teenagers and 20 somethings who have complete access to the Treasury payment source code are now #1 espionage recruitment targets for Russia and China, right?
February 4, 2025 at 4:44 PM
Hmmm
Here are the dems that voted to confirm the guy that just handed the Treasury to Musk:
Blunt Rochester; Booker; Cantwell; Coons; Fetterman; Gallego; Gillibrand; Hassan; Hickenlooper; Kaine Kelly; King (Independent); Peters; Shaheen; Slotkin; Warner.

With democrats like these, who needs republicans?
February 3, 2025 at 12:03 AM
What is USDS?
Elon Musk is not a Federal employee or a political appointee. DOGE is not a real department. None of their activities are legal. This is a coup. The Republicans in Congress are willing participants in it. At what point do Democrats in DC get that and start acting like it? It’s not the price of eggs!
