2025 is like if pets dot com had tens of billions of dollars in government contracts, and every other company on earth will go bankrupt if nobody buys enough dog toys.

also they all talk openly about how the puppet may kill us all but, they feel it's necessary to keep putting it on their hand.

it is an excuse to pay fewer people less money to do more jobs while depriving them opportunities to accrue actual domain knowledge. it is a gift to marketers and stakeholders whose only interest is in the production of perfectly average, maximally inoffensive content for the masses.

I don't think I've come across a poem that taps into my ethos when it comes to navigating queer community within the context of a hostile world as much as "We Have Enough Dead Friends" by Lena Oleanderson.

I strive to make my home a sanctuary where other faggots feel safe and cared for.

The thing about the Cracker Barrel uproar is that it’s a perfect illustration of how these people are in charge of everything, they’re running the entire country and diminishing Dem power at every turn and they are STILL UNHAPPY. Their entire brand is “angry and oppressed” and it always will be.

Gavin Newsom is a demon. Truly. Just a vile excuse for a human being,
Gavin Newsom suggesting that 25 years of age is too young to transition and agreeing to right-wing entryism of concern trolling about trans people in sports. This is your opposition leader?

I will never vote for Gavin Newsom anyone who thinks trans people are actual humans will follow suit.

honestly been getting weird reassurance from reading du fu and other ancient chinese poets and knowing people have faced the same struggle of caring deeply amidst a bumbling state

Another reason that using chat GPT is worse than simply not having a lawyer. If opposing counsel finds out you've been using chat gpt, they can request your logs and find out everything you've been saying. You get bad advice *and* you are creating discoverable evidence that can be used against you.

MIT’s NANDA initiative found that 95% of generative AI deployments fail after interviewing 150 execs, surveying 350 workers, and analyzing 300 projects. The real “productivity gains” seem to come from layoffs and squeezing more work from fewer people not AI.
MIT report: 95% of generative AI pilots at companies are failing
There’s a stark difference in success rates between companies that purchase AI tools from vendors and those that build them internally.
