This happened to a friend of mine. Followed them home. Patrolled their neighborhood for a few days. Then there was a door-knock and an attempt to serve an illegitimate warrant. Friend knew their rights (and also had an attorney handy), and they've backed off for now.
The most disturbing new trend in ICE behavior is agents escorting legal observers who are out patrolling our neighborhoods to their home, stopping, exiting the vehicle and pointing at their house. The message they're sending is pretty clear.

Part of the issue is that those most actively protesting and leading mutual aid are women and gender non-conforming people. Both groups are illegible to many as protesters. This helps explain the invisibilization of current protests and resistance.
