Massive shoutout out to whoever handles the Royal Canadian Air Force’s social media account. They responded to every single comment on their already very solid Trans Day of Remembrance post and they responded like this…

Ahhh, such simpler times when Texans wore big hats and slept with their sister-in-laws, instead of trying to steal democracy and get pregnant women killed.

Marjorie, I know the truth confuses you and facts ain’t your strong suit—so let me break it down real slow:

George Floyd didn’t die from drugs. He died because Derek Chauvin knelt on his neck for 9 minutes. That’s called murder.

No, he isn’t. There is literally no legal means by which he can do this. It’s not presidential power. TPS by law cannot be terminated early, and Somali TPS is not set to expire until March 17, 2026.
Trump says he’s ending Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Somali refugees in Minnesota “immediately.”

The interview with Alana Beard & @sarahspain.com is a good listen. It did clarify that the Saudi government is not an investor, but instead Project B is hiring their company to produce games. That sounds good, but it also means that they chose to do business with them.

Problem is: Neither our work culture nor our education culture incentivizes deep learning. Instead, we're incentivized to economize--to learn only what's needed to finish the task or get the answer right on the test.

So, people use ChatGPT, even when they know they could learn more by other means.
Relying on ChatGPT to teach you about a topic leaves you with shallower knowledge than Googling and reading about it, according to new research that compared what more than 10,000 people knew after using one method or the other.

MTG should not be allowed to go back to her "private" life peacefully.

May everyone in a position to disrupt her every living moment until the day the earth is freed from her miserable existence.

May she never know a day of peace again, and I hope her mind crumbles from the pressure.

btw those underlying causes are, in short, "we hit the saturation point". Everyone who wants to play video games is already playing them, there's no new markets to reach.

Similarly for music, I guess everybody who wants to pay for music is already doing it, and everybody else is pirating it.

I notice the last 4 years have been almost the same, reminds me of how video game spending has plateaued in that same timeframe.

Possibly a connection? Or reaction to the same underlying causes?
