Will Arnett was on Conan and told a story about how Conan dealt with the death of his parents by accusing Jason Bateman of killing them. It’s so funny.

My proposal for US-China relations after Trump is to start a direct, uncle-to-uncle cultural exchange program where we being all of the most Dongbei guys over here to meet midwestern dads, and we send southerners over to Sichuan province. I think it can fix things.

The default counter to drones in the U.S. Army’s new tank platoon doctrine being to “just shoot it down with coax and 120mm canister rounds” is so hilariously out of touch with the realities of modern drone combat that I don’t know whether to laugh or cry.

The situation with Russians killing a toddler with a drone is especially despicable when you realize this wasn’t a stray artillery shell that landed 50 meters off, or a Shahed drone that hit a tall building, but an FPV drone, guided in real time by an operator watching it live

The New York Times insists on treating Christopher Rufo not as a far-right activist who has been successfully pushing an ideologically defined rightwing agenda, but as a respectable conservative voice and a serious interlocutor on key political issues.

That is an active, deliberate choice.
In the last year, the Times has given Rufo the opportunity to opine 29 times on higher ed, transgender health care, national intelligence, student mental health, plagiarism, twitter's political dynamics, George Floyd, school vouchers, DEI, Donald Trump Jr, JD Vance, Project 2025, and Bari Weiss.

Again, why do they dress like a band of highwaymen instead of a properly constituted police force? They’re inside the security envelope of a public courthouse.
Here's a picture that a @kuow.org photographer took in Seattle yesterday, showing the ICE officers masked up in the hallways as they waited to arrest people coming out of their hearings.
