Our veterans served with honor. Trump and the GOP are repaying that service with layoffs, cuts at the VA and SNAP, forcing veterans to go hungry and without the health care they earned.

Thank you. NO ONE can go 40+ days without food, whether it's SNAP or paid directly. To watch military & federal employees going 2 food banks NOW 2 feed themselves & their families is fucking heartbreaking. They are STILL showing up serving this country after being traumatized since Jan.

I'll add, Ive been homeless as well. More than once. I'm aware enough to know I'm only one personal disaster from being there again.
I am disabled & have gone w/out Healthcare for yrs as well. It's NOT ideal, but, it IS more often survivable than going w/out food.

Ive been homeless twice. Neither time was for a long period of time, but for like 6 months each. I did sleep in a park a couple of times but was grateful enough to be able to live out of my car and sleep on different couches every night. Ive also spent years without healthcare of any kind.

The thing about winning is that if you wanna win the policies you want you have to actually win elections. We lost elections in 24. So now we don’t get to win policies. Lots of folks seem to struggle with that. Gotta elect majorities.
