Twin Cities based actor. 2016 elections activated me on Twitter. Went there to listen to/amplify the heart of the Democratic Party, Black Women. Guess this is the next evolution. (He/Him/His)

Good morning members of the GOP in Congress. Today would be a good day for you to wake up.

Nailed it. Three steps. Clear and concise reasoning behind each to make the clear case to the people why each is necessary and justified.
As members of Congress, how can we protect our constituents and the Constitution?

ONE: Cut and claw back ICE’s funding.

TWO: Prosecute the criminals in masks.

THREE: Impeach Noem and every fascist leader who should NEVER be allowed to hold public office again.

i think this MLK day the thing to focus on is the strategic focus and tactical brilliance of the civil rights movement and the way it was laser focused on a set of achievable goals

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dedicated his life fighting for equity and justice. He taught us that even in the face of intimidation and discrimination, we must never stop working towards a better future – a lesson that feels especially relevant today.

And trying to recognize and actually live that statement is a constant work in progress. We certainly weren’t there then, and much work remains.
People really don’t appreciate how radical the Revolution was for the time it took place. Openly declaring in the first sentence that “all men are created equal” is a very radical statement. It doesn’t seem so today, but it really was.
The radical liberalism of the American founders sets the basic template and ideals for virtually all subsequent radicalisms - everyone is trying to realize the ideals of 1776

Thanks to the President of the United States, and a Republican Party that will do NOTHING to rein him in, there are neighbors of ours who fear going outside here in Minnesota. Our lives AND our economy are being terribly impacted. No one is safer. No one is better off for this occupation.

When ‘Electability’ Is the Excuse
We say “Black women are the backbone of the Democratic Party.” But there’s also an unspoken rule that comes with it. The praise is fine. The power is not.

Do not forget this man. Maybe you don’t know who he is. That’s Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. That is the face of a spineless coward who has abdicated his oath to the United States Constitution while the President wipes his ass with it.

There’s no credible reason to threaten to take Greenland—our long standing and valuable ally. Denmark has for years been a great partner on Arctic security and economic development, and it welcomes further cooperation on both regarding Greenland.
Breaking news: The U.S. will impose tariffs on countries that have sent troops to Greenland in recent days, President Trump said, dramatically escalating his effort to acquire the territory despite assertions that the Arctic island is not for sale.

The move escalates tensions between the U.S. and longtime allies that have been sending Trump a message that the territory of Denmark is not for sale.
