The builders behind Alligator Alcatraz and other detention sites are top DeSantis donors.

They scored no-bid or “emergency” contracts worth tens of millions—while funneling cash into his political machine.

Pay-to-play isn’t just speculation—it’s backed by the paper trail.

Canada’s new Rural Community Immigration Pilot offers permanent residence to skilled workers who want to work and settle in rural and more remote communities.

14 pilot communities will approve certain employers to hire for jobs that they can’t fill with local workers.

haul musk before congress by next week and ask him exactly what they sent, why, whom they sent it to, who authorized it, and how many FAA employees accepted. drag vought’s ass back up and ask him the fucking same.
start with how many FAA employees they sent this to
Musk's people did the "Let's just do it and be legends" thing with those mass resignation emails without telling anyone. Or Trump's people just want everyone to think that, so Musk gets the, uh, credit for how it all went down www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...

a key take away from reading a lot of history for me:

the people who survive hard times and eventually brutally humiliate their seemingly invincible enemies are not the people whose first response to adversity is “oh well, guess I’ll die”

I would caution people to stop relying on the Constitution as written to have any meaning other than what the people Trump put on the Supreme Court says it means.

"He can't do that" is not a useful response to the things he's going to do. The correct response is "Will the Court uphold that?"
Trump cannot abrogate birthright citizenship under the 14th Amendment by way of executive order. That’s not how constitutional rights work.

I voted for Trump. But when he said he would end birthright citizenship, I didn’t know that he would strip me of my own birthright citizenship
