If Vance didn’t have his arm around (checks notes) the guy who allegedly had a Wash Post reporter chopped into bits, his jacket would probably have covered up that weird stain on his shirt.

The basic truths that escape “both sides.”
Since January 2023, the New York Times has cited Rep. Ralph Norman, R-SC, in 78 stories. None mentioned that Norman secretly urged the Trump White House in 2021 to declare martial law – in effect, a military-backed coup. Norman wasn’t charged, but the NYT gave him a “pardon” anyway.

Check out this thread. It’s certainly helpful for my own sanity to hear that DHS BWC shows what we all saw with our own eyes. It’s really something to be gaslit by the government after each of their attacks.
DHS claimed that on September 26, a DHS officer claimed that they were forced to deploy riot munitions because protestors were "becoming increasingly hostile."

In fact, "the [Body Worn Camera] video shows that the protesters were simply standing there when agents first deployed any force."

It's a revealing moment...

J.D. Vance welcomes a two-legged robot helping on the job site. But if that helper is a person named Jose, he calls it a threat. Same tasks, same productivity boost.

The inconsistency reveals this isn’t about economics.

DO NOT REPEAT THIS PROPOSED HOUSING POLICY
NEW: Before the recent Epstein disclosures, Larry Summers was poised to lead the economic policy plank for the Democrats' "Project 2029" effort at the Center for American Progress. He signed off on a housing policy paper CAP was prepping for next week.

I was ecstatic when an iOS update started to let me edit my text messages after I send them. I use it all the time.

Aside from my wife, most of my texts are with our early 20s Gen Z kids, who barely use punctuation at all.

As DHS attorneys argue in court this morning that reporters are somehow just wandering into the path of fire and catching strays is their own fault, here's a video from 9/26 (the date in question) that shows feds aiming directly at an obvious press gaggle trying to stay out of their way:
ICE advanced again, started firing at photographers/press intentionally. Took a nasty lick to the face, unsure if pepper ball or rubber bullet.

Just everything.

My kids (both early 20s) have used Direct File to prepare and file their federal and state tax returns for free each year of its entire short lifespan. It was easy and helpful and apparently Republicans don’t want the federal government to be either for anyone who doesn’t pay them off.
👀 Scoop: IRS Direct File, the free government-backed program that let you file your taxes for free, is dead.

IRS wrote to state tax agencies saying it would not be operational this coming tax season, per records I've obtained.

ICE is thug trash.
NEWS: Federal agents crashed with woman’s car, pointed guns at her, dragged her out by legs, tossed her in a minivan, held her and (eventually) let her go without charges. This as Chicagoans say the immigration blitz is out of control. (DHS blames her.)
