The amount that capitalism runs on child joy and parents' need for a break is honestly so sinister. Took the kids im watching to a trampoline park and it's insane how much money the arcade and the food and the everything is and they make it as flashy as possible

This totally makes sense. A notable public figure in the US (Amazon labor organizer Christian Smalls) is illegally arrested by Israel and subjected to severe physical violence while on a hunger strike… and not one US media outlet of any type has decided that is news.

Ok I love kratom and take it to help with focus (essentially an accessible adhd med) and the only unpleasant side effect I've ever gotten is irritability, but like anything else it requires moderation and if you take it daily you're gonna lose tolerance and want more than you should have
