America’s only getting a fraction of the Black and Brown treatment, but it’s kind of interesting to see how bad some people are panicking and to witness the nonchalance as well.

Y’all better step your cookies up if you wanna get rid of this man.

Sound familiar? This IS who we are. And if we want to change that, America has to grapple with that. 3/3

America has had centuries of chattel slavery, ‘slave’ patrols,Black Codes, Jim Crow, and mass incarceration.

“Stop shaming peope who voted wrong.”

No.

First time was a mistake. Second and Third time was a choice.

No job security exists anymore. Housing security has always been shaky for many years. Food insecurity has even gotten concerning for the working class which means the poor are suffering.

And a lot of the blame fall squarely in the hands of no bank bone Republican leadership since the early 2000s.

Layoff announcements just in the final quarter of 2025 — 259,948 planned cuts — were the worst for the fourth quarter since 2008.

That is the pattern.

Destabilize countries, then curse the asylum seekers and refugees.

Disinvest in communities, then insult the people who come from them.

Destroy the safety net, then criminalize homelessness.

GOP voters keep mocking protesters as “jobless,” conveniently forgetting that millions were laid off early in this administration, and more followed as private companies were targeted for things like DEI programs (Costco, for example).

You can’t create instability and then laugh at the fallout.

The Right’s opposition to universal healthcare and childcare always comes down to one thing: they don’t want to pay for anyone else’s care.

Newsflash: the government is always going to tax us.

I’d rather my money help people live than line the pockets of the rich and greedy.

90% of the problems we have are exclusively American problems.

Ubering to the hospital.
Paying big bucks for Health Insurance.
Hospital takes the health insurance, but the doctor at the hospital doesn’t.
Needing to pay $100k for college.
Not making enough money to live and pay back student loans.

My anxiety has been high these last few months, which is why I’ve been quiet.

The U.S. has pushed itself into deeply concerning territory globally. Proxy wars, sanctions, asset seizures, and watching world powers posture while regular people pay the price is unsettling.

I have no more patience for people who are still pretending that all presidents were as bad as trump and that there's nothing unique happening
January 3, 2026 at 1:11 PM
Precisely this.
It's an old and obvious pattern. An unpopular president - failing on the economy and losing his grip on power at home - decides to launch a war for regime change abroad.

The American people don’t want to “run” a foreign country while our leaders fail to improve life in this one.
