Just in case it's relevant for anyone, being against the death penalty is about not trusting any state or institution to equitably mete out justice, especially when life is at stake. That same logic does not necessarily apply when we're talking about accountability when looked at from the bottom up.

Just in case it's relevant for anyone, being against the death penalty is about not trusting any state or institution to equitably mete out justice, especially when life is at stake. That same logic does not necessarily apply when we're talking about accountability when looked at from the bottom up.
