Agreed but at this point the best solution though at this point is to promulgate a new Leonian missal and suppress both the novus ordo and the TLM.
Popes Paul VI and Francis were right, and Benedict XVI was wrong. Broadly re-legalizing the Latin Mass was a mistake, and perpetuating the fiction that it's some kind of legitimate parallel form of the Roman Rite with a subsistent right of its own to stay how it is, a terrible idea and a falsehood.

My dad is going through some pretty intense inpatient treatment for acute leukemia. The mix of treatments have given him some hellacious headaches. Would appreciate prayers that those headaches lift soon.

This I would guess is the goal
the political benefit is that if he traps the Republican Senators into ending the filibuster, the White House can then get them to pass whatever Enabling Acts he or Miller or Vance might desire.
I’ve long thought Trump is good at picking fights that benefit him politically but the fact he’s fighting right now to starve Americans is making me reassess
