Opinion | The grandchildren of immigrants are just as repugnant as the immigrants themselves. Some end up dedicating their lives to separating parents from children and sending innocent people to torture prisons.

This is a well-known disinformation tactic: releasing verified false material alongside genuine records to degrade trust in the archive itself. The Kremlin information doctrine also uses this type of “noise injection” to create uncertainty, enabling later claims that the full record is unreliable.

Somehow I expected better from Newsom on that, but I suppose he cashes AIPAC checks like American politicians do.
Newsom just signed AB 715, a vague California law that weaponizes "antisemitism" to silence criticism of Israel in schools. The law deliberately avoids defining antisemitism while forcing districts to adopt the IHRA definition that conflates anti-Zionism with bigotry. mondoweiss.net/2025/12/cali...
California’s AB 715 claims to combat antisemitism but is a direct attack on free speech regarding Palestine
Proponents claim that California’s AB 715 aims to combat antisemitism by strengthening anti-discrimination laws in public schools, but a closer look reveals it directly targets free speech on…

Looking for the truth about what it was like inside CECOT?

Earlier this year, we spoke to the men the Trump administration deported to El Salvador. Hear about what they endured, in their own words: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W8INs141xeQ

Just want to add: Being convicted of a crime in the U.S. wouldn’t justify sending someone to a foreign gulag to be tortured, and arguably violates separation of powers since the “sentence” they are legally bound to serve is one issued by a judge, not Stephen Miller (i.e. the factoid is irrelevant)
Bari Weiss lied in her memo. She said segment didn't report administration's legal justification (it does in the very first sentence) and didn't say how many detainees had been charged with crimes as opposed to just those who were convicted (it does). www.muellershewrote.com/p/watch-the-...

Again, if you write code with AI, you can see if the code compiles. If you write a legal filing with AI, you find out if it works when opposing counsel and/or the court tries to take your head off.

said it once, I'll say it a thousand times: legal research and drafting generative AI is not fit for the purpose
Finally, the lawyers were like “oh my god, I don’t know how this could possibly happen, we never make mistakes like this.”

But after they got busted in THIS case, they then went and filed corrections in one of their OTHER cases after they realized that fuckery was happening.

“The Federal Judiciary has no authority to invent fundamental Constitutional rights” is an odd claim. It most certainly has the authority to interpret and adjudicate the meaning of the Constitution.
The devil works hard but Jonathan Mitchell works harder:

“A Waco justice of the peace who refused to marry same-sex couples filed a federal lawsuit Friday that asks the courts to overturn Obergefell v. Hodges…Hensley is represented by Jonathan Mitchell.”
Waco judge asks federal courts to overturn same-sex marriage
Judge Dianne Hensley, who has been fighting the state judicial oversight body since 2019, is hoping to tee up a new challenge to the U.S. Supreme Court’s Obergefell v. Hodges ruling.
