I understand the hate behind ai, I'm not shy about it myself neither.
That said, a ".ai" file is not ai, that's adobe illustrator: a vector-based art program. Please pass it on for people. I've seen multiple witch-hunts start up, which causes grief and embarrassment for both accuser and accused.
