it's my birthday today 🫣 🎉 here's some of my art!!

I wasn’t sure I accomplished anything in 2025 until I sat down and wrote a list:

- Published a new portfolio website
- Illustrated a new chapter book, out 03/2025
- Finished manuscripts for 3 picture books
- Won a bronze portfolio award from SCBWI
- My art shown at BIB

And so, with that in mind

I can't wrap my head around how using AI to undress random women using their clothed image is not considered image-based sexual harassement, and how a social media site whose AI doubles as a nudify app is allowed to carry on as normal.

My #artvsartist for this year! I loved working with bright colors, glowing lights and swoopy shapes. The smudge tool had a chokehold on me and completely changed my rendering process. I wish I’d had more time for my art, but I still think I churned out some decent pieces. How was this year for you?
