Trump’s Tariff obsession is bc he loves the 1900s. Why? Robber Barons during the Gilded Age benefited from tariffs; everyone else suffered. Once there was reform thereby the Income Tax, we begin to see wealth equity (for some).

Flood the school boards, councils, county seats, state legislatures, Congress, etc.
Big changes at the top happen when the ground shifts at the bottom. And that can start now.

Rep Raskin has been great. Rep Ocasio-Cortez has been great. And Rep Frost and Rep Crockett. Senator Murphy. Maybe no one knew exactly what to do. But such people laid down a clear marker. Let’s respect these and other elected federal representatives who stood out these first few weeks.

Can we get @chrismurphyct.bsky.social to be the Senate Minority Leader instead? He’s truly the only one I’m continually hearing loudly and often that what Trump/Elon is doing is egregious. If we want to preserve democracy, we need Dems that can communicate to the American people.
