When people suggest that companies can be trusted to self regulate and do what's right it's an incredibly naive notion. DuPont and 3M have poisoned us all due to their reckless profit motive. I often wonder if my own cancer was related to environmental pollutants like C8.

This is a new level of absurdity. We're living in Black Mirror. AI is a waste of resources, and it enables laziness. It doesn't even do simple tasks well. It baffled me that a medical doctor would rely on a hit or miss tool in place of their years of education and experience.
This AI shit is getting outta hand, because why my doctor just used ChatGPT to see what medication to prescribe me? Like girl use your brain?? Your years of medical training??? What else am I paying you for?????

It's a shame that science questioning consumers create this conundrum with selling and marketing GMO crops. This is miraculous, but it's a bit convoluted to need to extract the protein as an ingredient for other products instead of the potato being the product.

As someone studying biology, it isn't easy to learn and cope with the far reaching impacts of humans on our environment. It feels as though each topic is laced with exciting interactions and organism and the reality that much of what makes our world interesting is threatened by humanity.
