Oil & gas pollution is everywhere but it's invisible like germs. I make it visible. It is causing the climate crisis. I show their dirty secrets and expose their fraud and lies. They sue me to shut me up but I win. 5th gen Texan, hate football.

One reason there is a climate crisis is because oil and gas pollution is invisible. If you could see it with your bare eyes, spewing out from everywhere, you would stop it.

At @oilfieldwitness.bsky.social we make the invisible visible.

What @txsharon.bsky.social says

“We have to stop burning things. We just don’t need to burn things for energy anymore.”
"I do feel like what we’re doing now, what Oilfield Witness is doing, is making a difference.” Still, for Wilson, the ultimate goal isn’t tighter methane rules—it’s an end to the age of combustion itself. “We have to stop burning things. We just don’t need to burn things for energy anymore.”
This Former Oil Worker Is Now Exposing Its Dirty Methane Emissions | Atmos
After fracking fouled her air and water, Sharon Wilson devoted her life to documenting the emissions fueling the climate crisis.

In 2021, after the Global Methane Pledge was announced, @txsharon.bsky.social was interviewed about the agreement and pointed out "A pledge is not a plan."

See what other wisdom she shared back then. She was 100% correct then. Perhaps we should listen to her now?
There will be a lot of talk of dealing with methane emissions from oil and gas at Climate Week. And COP. @txsharon.bsky.social was at COP 26 in 2021 when the Global Methane Pledge was announced. A good time to review her reaction to the announcement back then.

The only reason they can say #LNG is clean, is because the pollution is invisible.

They will say anything hoping we will believe it. But seeing is believing.

The oil industry loves to tout emissions numbers based on theoretical operating conditions using engineering estimates - thus ignoring the reality of the oilfield.
