Those gibberish words? The rambling? His "Weave"? The technical term is "hypnotic induction". As in, it is a phrase, or series of phrases, designed to drop someone into a low level hypnosis. At which point, whatever you say sticks.

The fact that tarrifs are on the top of front pages consistently while people getting abducted off the streets for their free speech without due process is relegated far lower should tell us everything about where much of the media establishment sees our priorities as a society.
