It wasn’t the only time it’s happened. When you encourage this behaviour - patients struggle to get the care they need because a quicker & cheaper option is available.

If you find this hard to believe…I ecourage you to read this article explaining how doctors have a duty to bring up assisted death:
Canadian doctors encouraged to bring up medically assisted death before their patients do
Guidance from Canada’s providers of medically assisted death states that doctors have a professional obligation to bring up MAID. Read more

A more than 3000-year-old Egyptian basket of coiled palm fibre with a lid. Baskets served as household containers and were frequently placed in tombs, containing grave goods such as jewelry or food offerings. The basket has been remarkably preserved because of Egypt's arid desert climate.🧵1/2

Put me in coach, I'm ready
Powerwash simulator but you are restoring the Enterprise D, fixing it up inside and out, ready for display at the Starfleet museum.

Wicked, Original Star Trek, and Sherlock Holmes are these intellectual properties that are like, Zeno's paradox of gayness. they all move slowly but inexorably towards an explicitly gay adaption but despite each new adaption being twice as gay as the last they never actually reach the target

"Reaper Man" has been the most abstract Discworld book so far. Also the most relevant to current times, and the one which has made me laugh out loud the most.

Really looking forward to Witches Abroad, because witches are the best. I hope there's lots of Headology in it #Discworld

Magenta is the most cosmic color because there is no wavelength of light that corresponds to that particular color. Our brains just sort of fill in the gaps to make sense of it.

Which is why, H.P. Lovecraft's "The Colour Out of Space" is pink/magenta.
Man, everything is so bleak, anyone got a fun fact or little bit of trivia they want to share
