Before covid, there was a food truck in Austin called that, run by drag queens:

Texas Chili Queens combine chili, culture
Drag culture and Texas chili culture cross paths at Texas Chili Queens in Austin. Popping up in different Austin spots regularly, the food truck is basically RuPaul meets the Terlingua Chili Cookoff. ...

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

One thing I found deeply moving about resistance in the Twin Cities was the universalism of loving your neighbor, the philosophy driving the opposition to the ICE/BP invasion. I couldn't help but notice the contrast with the blood and soil-ism of Miller and Vance. www.theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/0...

One of my favorite commissions is to redraw pages from my books.
Every time I pick up this book my heart feels such a way, and the only accurate description I have is stolen from @kochalka.bsky.social 's "Quit Your Job"

My heart is big for such a little cat!

This is 🌟AMAZING🌟 and we need to hear more about the s'mores dumpling idea!
I am one (1!) recipe away from having made every dumpling in the "Savory" chapter of @sarahbecan.bsky.social's Let's Make Dumplings! book (pork & chives potstickers). I've made others! I jumped around a bit. I've got an idea for adapting the sweet sesame dumpling into a s'more dumpling!

So for the last year I've had a newsletter on @buttondown.com , and it's been great. My one and only complaint was that the archives page didn't show image previews of each newsletter, but they just rolled out a new design! Look how pretty! ^_^
