Not raised Catholic but extremely religious. Protestant? Baptist? I really am not sure the denomination. Either way, this sentiment throws me for a loop almost daily.
It's funny. I've moved on from my Catholic upbringing but I still believe it's our duty to treat other humans with justice and respect no matter their status. Strange that that idea makes me a commie now.
