Today marks the 9 year anniversary of The Webcomic Library! It's genuinely incredible that we're still gathering and sharing stories together after all this time. I'm grateful every day I get to do this. I sincerely hope to keep helping yall find amazing comics! tagpacker.com/user/webcomi...

This mouse knows the secret to happiness in the digital age: Direct delivery of things that actually make you laugh.

No doomscrolling. Just comics arriving like a small gift you didn't have to hunt for between seventeen ads for things you mentioned once out loud near your phone.

For webcomics, please talk about them! Like, subscribe, tell other folks about the work you like <3
If you like an author's work, the best thing you can do is buy it. The second best thing you can do is ask your local library to buy it. Or, do both!
A reminder that the median book deal for a debut author in the UK is £7000, paid over 12-18 months. (from 2022 Society of Authors report). Some of your favourite writers are struggling. societyofauthors.org/2022/12/06/a....

You heard the man 😉
There's so much stuff in my archives and not all of it is well-organized, though I've been working on that.
2. If you want to send new guest/fan art for the 35th anniversary, please do! I will promote it and promote anything else you've made in the process.

the Byzantine Empire had a contingent of mercenary bodyguards for the emperor, the varangian guard, who were all Vikings.

when these Vikings got to see the Hagia Sophia, then the most holy Church of the Orthodox faith, one decided to carve "Halfdan was here" on the marble in runes.
Man, everything is so bleak, anyone got a fun fact or little bit of trivia they want to share

One thing that gives me hope for the future is the generation I'm raising has access to classics, and some of them still hold up. I have the full Calvin and Hobbes collection, and my kids request that I read it and they read it themselves sometimes.
40 years ago today the world was introduced to a small boy and his best friend. Happy birthday Calvin & Hobbes.
