And I'm not a big guy.
Those actors are wee lads.

Almost none of the 300+ pieces fit me. My shoulders are too wide and arms too long.

Out of it all, I got a pair of really nice boots, a vest and a frock coat.

Stacy's unexpected costume pile at home is valiantly being reduced, bit by bit. Thank you for your service, Anthony. ;)

Lichenstein was a thief and a hack. Compare the line work of the panels he copied to the lifeless 'fine art' versions he made. The original comic artists have better construction, more nuanced and confident line work, and they actually created the damn work themselves.

Off again on another convention adventure. Heading to BC for Fan Expo Vancouver!

Looking forward to seeing friends and fans.

I thought the script was solid, but without the visuals delivering + elevating it, it wouldn't have the same impact.

I feel the same way about De La Torre, Braithwaite, Dagnino, Gil, Rooth, Horley and so many other phenomenal artists I've been able to work with on the Hyborian Age. It's a blessing.

I know Patch is busy with his own stories, but I'd team up with him again any time.

Patch was a great collaborator and it delivered on exactly what I planned for it to be, a Weird Tales-style Conan story, self-contained and visceral with a supernatural twist.

I thought it would be my last chance to write Conan and instead it became my audition for so much more.

Thank you both!
The Gambler changed my life, but I had no way of knowing it at the time.

It was the Conan story that got me on the radar with the rights holders, which led to Serpent War and then the monthly Conan title at Marvel, which led to the Titan relaunch.

Without it, I would not be here.

I love this and think it doesn't need inks. The roughness of the pencil line has ideal energy here.

More than anything else, this Superman/Spider-Man crossover allows a whole new generation of creators to remind people how much FUN comics can be.
Here's my variant cover for Superman/Spider-Man #1 without the text, featuring the vehicle that climbs walls and the other one that punches. Because I knew what to do with my one chance to draw Spider-Man.

Absolutely. It depends on the subject matter and artist involved. If you dig through those scripts you'll see some that are more detailed and others that leave more up to the artist.
