TIL about a memorial ceremony in Iceland in 2019 to mark the end of a glacier, changing the place name from Okjökull to Ok (jökull = glacier). Uncompromising wording on the bronze plaque:

What's missing from the immigration debate - apart from any shred of compassion or decency - is the fact that Brexit ended the system which enabled returns to other countries in Europe.
Along with lack of safe routes, Brexit is the biggest driver of small boat crossings.
